The Jade step-up hot plate assembly has its rear burner section raised relative to its front burner section. The step up hot plates have cast iron open burners. The Jade Supreme step up hot plates use gas as their heating energy source. JHPE-4-436 has 4 burners at the rear. JHPE-4-436 has 4 burners at the front. Infinite control manual gas valves at each burner for precise heat control. 14 gauge stainless steel all welded construction. Heavy steel top plate with easy lift-off top plates. Natural-gas step-up hot plates require a minimum operating pressure of 5 inches W.C. JHPE-4-436 is listed as 36 inches wide. The Jade JHPE-4-436 hot plate has a depth of 29-3/4 inches.
