The Southbend Steam ECX-2S, ECX-2S-36, ECX-10S, and ECX-10S-36 models have an electric steam boiler base. The ECX-2S-[36] model has a capacity of 2 pans at 4-in pan depth. The ECX-2S-[36] model has a capacity of 1 pan at 6-in pan depth. The ECX-2S-[36] model has a capacity of 3 pans at 2-1/2-in pan depth. fuel type: electric. input kw: 36. voltage: 220. The steam boiler is specified for 3-phase supply. A steamer with a 36-kW boiler draws 94.5 amps per line at 220 V, 3 phase. The steamer shall be constructed of #4 finish stainless steel type 304, with a cooking chamber of one-piece, all welded, 316 stainless steel. Standard features include a water treatment system, split water line, CSD-1 boiler controls, automatic blowdown and a drain tempering system for the 140 degree temperature requirement (requires 1/2” cold water connection).
