KDLT-30F. Direct Steam. The KDLT-30F kettle has a rated capacity of 30 gallons (114 liters). The Southbend kettle is connected to direct steam. The Southbend kettle's direct steam operation is specified at a minimum of 5 PSI (34 kPa) and a maximum of 30 PSI (207 kPa). The Southbend kettle is full jacketed. Construction is all-welded stainless steel with a #4 finish, type 304. The Southbend kettle liner is standard 316 stainless steel for high-acid-content cooking. The Southbend KDLT direct-steam kettle has a tilting configuration. The Southbend KDLT direct-steam kettle's forward tilt is for complete emptying.
