KDLS-60. Direct Steam. The KDLS-60 kettle has a capacity of 60 gallons (227 liters). Each listed KDLS kettle requires operating steam pressure from 5 to 30 PSI (34 to 206 kPa). Each listed Southbend KDLS direct-steam tri-leg kettle has a sanitary draw-off valve with a diameter of 2 in (50 mm). Construction is all-welded satin-finish stainless steel, type 304. A cover is a standard included feature of each listed KDLS kettle. The cover of each listed KDLS kettle has a spring-assist mechanism. Spring-assist hinges are for 60-, 80-, and 100-gallon kettles.
