The Southbend KDLT kettle is a direct-steam kettle. KDLT-60. The KDLT-60 kettle has a capacity of 60 gallons (227 liters). The Southbend KDLT kettle requires incoming direct steam at a minimum of 5 PSI (34 kPa) and a maximum of 30 PSI (206 kPa). The Southbend KDLT kettle's interior liner is standard 316 stainless steel for high-acid-content cooking. Construction shall be all welded #4 finish stainless steel type 304. The Southbend KDLT kettle tilt mechanism permits the kettle to tilt forward a full 90°. The Southbend KDLT kettle's tilting mechanism is self-locking. The KDLT-60 kettle has a 0 in (0 mm) minimum clearance requirement at the sides. The KDLT-60 kettle has a 0 in (0 mm) minimum clearance requirement at the back.
