The Southbend P16-P sectional range top has a plancha griddle configuration. The plancha griddle on the Southbend P16-P sectional range is 9-3/4 in wide. The P16-P sectional range's burner is listed at 16,000 BTU on NAT. The P16-P sectional range uses battery spark ignition. The range has one control knob. The plancha griddle is a 1/2 in thick reinforced steel plate powered by cast iron burners, providing fast preheat and recovery. Its high-heat zone, with maximum temperatures of 800°F, is on the front 2/3 of the plate for quick searing; temperatures are decreased on the rear 1/3 for product finishing. The exterior finish has front, sides, rear, and exterior bottom constructed of #3 polished 430 and 304 stainless steel. The P16-P sectional range is NSF certified.
