Direct Steam. KDPT-20. The KDPT-20 kettle has a capacity of 20 gallons (76 liters). The Southbend KDPT kettle uses direct steam connected to the kettle. The direct steam supply for the Southbend KDPT kettle shall be at least 5 psi (34 kPa) and no more than 30 psi (206 kPa). The steam jacket of the Southbend KDPT kettle interior surrounds the lower 2/3 of the kettle. The Southbend KDPT kettle interior has double-wall construction. Construction is all welded, satin finish, stainless steel, type 304. The Southbend KDPT kettle's tilting mechanism is self-locking for positive stop action. The Southbend KDPT-20, KDPT-30, KDPT-40, KDPT-60, and KDPT-80 kettles have a pedestal configuration. The Southbend KDPT kettle is NSF certified.
