The Southbend EZ18-5 steamer draws 41.7 amps at 240V, 1 PH, at 10 kW. The steamer offers selectable timed or constant-steam cooking mode and electromechanical controls. The controls include an illuminated timed-cooking/off/constant-steam switch, a ready indicator light, a cooking indicator light, and a low-water indicator light with an audible alarm. The unit is constructed of satin-finish 300 series stainless steel and has a one-piece welded 300 series stainless-steel cooking chamber with coved corners.
