The Southbend KELS-20, KELS-25, KELS-30, KELS-40, KELS-60, KELS-80, and KELS-100 tri-leg kettle is mounted on legs. The KELS-80 kettle has a capacity of 80 gallons (303 liters). The Southbend KELS-20, KELS-25, KELS-30, KELS-40, KELS-60, KELS-80, and KELS-100 kettle operates electrically. The Southbend KELS-20, KELS-25, KELS-30, KELS-40, KELS-60, KELS-80, and KELS-100 kettle uses a self-generating closed steam system. The steam jacket of the Southbend KELS-20 through KELS-100 steam kettle surrounds the lower two-thirds of the kettle. The controls are integrally mounted and include a power switch, thermostat, pilot light, low water light, vacuum/pressure gauge, safety relief valve, and low water shut off. Construction is all welded #4 finish stainless steel, type 304. The KELS-80 kettle has 18 kW available as standard electrical power. The KELS-40, KELS-60 and KELS-80 18-kW single-phase configuration draws 75.0 A per line at 240 V. The KELS-20, KELS-25, KELS-30, KELS-40, KELS-60, KELS-80 and KELS-100 kettles have a minimum clearance of 3 inches (76 mm) at the sides. The KELS-20, KELS-25, KELS-30, KELS-40, KELS-60, KELS-80 and KELS-100 kettles have a minimum clearance of 3 inches (76 mm) at the back.
