The P24C-PP configuration has a cabinet base under the plancha griddle. P24C-PP. The plancha griddle is a 1/2-inch-thick reinforced steel plate powered by cast iron burners, providing fast preheat and recovery time. Its high-heat zone, with maximum temperatures of 800°F, is located on the front 2/3 of the plate for quick sear, with decreased temperatures on the rear 1/3 of the plate for product finishing. The range has two burners and two control knobs. The 24-inch sectional range uses battery spark ignition. Each Southbend P24-PP sectional unit requires a minimum gas supply pressure of 11 in W.C. for propane. The range has a stainless steel front, sides, rear and exterior bottom. The cabinet-base model has a stainless steel cabinet base with a removable door that can hinge on the right or the left. The 24-inch sectional range has a 1-inch rear gas connection.
