KDLT-100. The Southbend KDLT kettle is a tilting kettle. The KDLT-100 kettle has a capacity of 100 gallons (379 liters). The Southbend KDLT kettle is a direct-steam kettle. The steam jacket formed by the Southbend KDLT kettle's double-wall interior surrounds the lower 2/3 of the kettle. The Southbend KDLT kettle's interior liner is standard 316 stainless steel for high-acid-content cooking. Construction shall be all welded #4 finish stainless steel type 304. The Southbend KDLT kettle's tilting mechanism is self-locking. The Southbend KDLT kettle tilt mechanism permits the kettle to tilt forward a full 90°. The KDLT-100 kettle has a 0 in (0 mm) minimum clearance requirement at the sides.
