The FIREX UCPMDE232 multicooker has a system to make starch skimming easier. The FIREX UCPMDE232 multicooker has two basins. The UCPMDE232 accommodates 2 baskets. The UCPMDE232 draws 72.0A at 208V, 3 phase, 60Hz. Electronic control is by a multifunctional keyboard with a 7-inch touchscreen and clear messages. The panel board provides two cooking modes with working-temperature setting or minimum/maximum heating, cooking type and time setting, manual and program modes, and creation and editing of cooking programs with cooking type, temperature and time parameters, and the possibility of inserting text messages. It also includes delayed cooking with date, time and programming cycle, touchscreen language settings, and input of different measurement units. The cooking vessel is stainless steel AISI 316, thickness 30/10. The perforated basket is stainless steel AISI 316, thickness 15/10, with electric tilting. The lid is balanced stainless steel AISI 304, thickness 10/10. The supporting structure is stainless steel AISI 304, thickness 20-30/10. Heating is by means of aluminum cast elements directly in contact with the vessel bottom. An electronic board controls the heating, with automatic activation at a minimum of 2 °C before the setpoint and interruption of heating when the water level is at minimum. The display/signal functions show the cooking type, temperature probes used and set temperature, heating-operation visual alarm, time to end of cycle, insufficient water level, automatic basket lifting at the end of cooking with a 10-second flashing touchscreen notice, thermostat-intervention safety signalling, and self-diagnostics. The safety system includes an emergency button, heating interruption when there is insufficient water in the vat, and blocking of heating for overtemperature of the heating elements. Heat insulation is guaranteed by panels in thick glass fibre. The outer cover is stainless steel AISI 304 with a fine satin finish, thickness 10/10. The protection level is IPX5. A USB connection can download HACCP data, update software, and load cooking programs; the machine can be interrogated using MODBUS over an RS485 serial interface, and a connection for a power economizer is provided.
