Electric Steam Kettle. The Southbend KEPS-20F/30F/40F/60F steam kettle is a pedestal kettle. The KEPS-30F kettle has a capacity of 30 gallons (114 liters). The steam jacket of the Southbend Steam KEPS-20F, KEPS-30F, KEPS-40F, and KEPS-60F kettle surrounds the full kettle. The 18 kW, 3-phase, 220 V electrical configuration draws 47.2 amps per line. The Southbend KEPS-F kettle's controls include a thermostat. The Southbend KEPS-F kettle's controls are integrally mounted. The interior liner is standard with 316 stainless steel for high-acid-content cooking. Construction is all-welded #4-finish type 304 stainless steel. The Southbend KEPS-F steam kettle has a self-generating steam system.
