The IRB gas radiant broiler is a countertop unit. The IRB-72 radiant-char broiler has 12 burners. The IRB-72 radiant-char broiler is 72 in (1829 mm) wide. The IRB-72 radiant-char broiler is 31-3/8 in (797 mm) deep. Natural Gas. The broiler has individually controlled stainless steel burners; the page specifies 15,000 BTU/hr (4 KW) per burner. Burners are spaced every 5 inches and have individual controls. The IRB radiant broiler's standard radiants are made of cast iron. The front and sides are stainless steel, and the seams are welded and polished. The grates, radiant covers, and stainless steel burners can be removed for cleaning without tools. Each top-grate blade has a cast-in grease trough that directs excess fat to the front grease gutter to minimize flare-up. Radiant-char broilers require 8 in (203 mm) clearance from combustible surfaces.
