The Southbend KELT-20F, KELT-30F, KELT-40F, and KELT-60F kettles are self-generating steam kettles. The Southbend KELT-20F, KELT-30F, KELT-40F, and KELT-60F kettles are full-jacketed. The Southbend KELT-20F, KELT-30F, KELT-40F, and KELT-60F kettles are tilting kettles. The Southbend KELT-20F, KELT-30F, KELT-40F, and KELT-60F kettles are floor mounted. The KELT-30F kettle has a rated capacity of 30 gallons (114 liters). The 33 kW, three-phase electrical configuration is listed at 220 V. The 33 kW, 220 V, three-phase electrical configuration draws 86.6 amps per line. The kettle's tilt mechanism is sealed stainless steel, tilts the kettle forward a full 90° for complete emptying, and is self-locking for positive stop action. The jacket contains a permanent water-and-antifreeze solution that immerses and protects replaceable electric heating elements and provides the steam source. The heating elements are thermostatically controlled to provide precise temperatures throughout the range from slow simmer to rolling boil.
