The Southbend Steam KEMTL-40-2, KEMTL-60-2, KEMTL-80-2, and KEMTL-100-2 twin electric kettle assembly is leg-mounted. The Southbend Steam KEMTL-40-2, KEMTL-60-2, KEMTL-80-2, and KEMTL-100-2 twin kettle assembly has electric heating. The steam system of the Southbend Steam KEMTL-40-2, KEMTL-60-2, KEMTL-80-2, and KEMTL-100-2 twin kettle assembly is closed. The steam system of the Southbend Steam KEMTL-40-2, KEMTL-60-2, KEMTL-80-2, and KEMTL-100-2 twin kettle assembly is self-generating. The food-contact liner of each Southbend Steam KEMTL kettle is 316 stainless steel. The steam jacket of the Southbend Steam KEMTL kettle extends around the lower 2/3 of the kettle. The thermostat range of the Southbend Steam KEMTL kettle begins at 140°F (60°C). The thermostat range of the Southbend Steam KEMTL kettle ends at 285°F (140°C). Kettle controls include a power switch, thermostat, power-on pilot light, vacuum/pressure gauge, pressure relief valve, and low-water shut off. The mixer is a variable-speed unit powered by a 5 hp electric motor driving a hydraulic pump. Two agitators are included: a primary stainless steel scraper/agitator and a secondary high-speed mixer. A sealed stainless steel tilt mechanism permits the kettle to tilt forward a full 90° for complete emptying and is self-locking for positive stop action.
