SCX-2S-10. The Southbend SCX-2S and SCX-10S convection steamers have two compartments. The SCX-2S-10 with one 6-gallon and one 10-gallon kettle has a 6-pan compartment capacity for 1-inch-deep pans. incoming steam pressure of 25–45 psi (170–310 kPa). The steam-coil-heated steam boiler operates at 9–11 psi (62–76 kPa). voltage: 115. The Southbend steamer controls are specified for standard operation on 1 phase. The steamers shown draw 2 amps per compartment, or as specified on the data plate. The steamer shall be constructed of satin finish stainless steel, type 304, with a cooking chamber of one-piece, all-welded, type 316 stainless steel. The timing of each steamer compartment is independently controlled. The boiler controls include safety high-limit pressure control.
