The Southbend KELS-20, KELS-25, KELS-30, KELS-40, KELS-60, KELS-80, and KELS-100 tri-leg kettle is mounted on legs. The KELS-40 kettle has a capacity of 40 gallons (152 liters). 24KW, 220V, 3PH. The KELS-40 … optional 24-kW three-phase configuration draws 63.0 A per line at 220 V. The Southbend KELS-20, KELS-25, KELS-30, KELS-40, KELS-60, KELS-80, and KELS-100 kettle uses a self-generating closed steam system. The controls are integrally mounted and include a power switch, thermostat, pilot light, low water light, vacuum/pressure gauge, safety relief valve, and low water shut off. The Southbend KELS-20 through KELS-100 steam kettle has a double-wall interior. Construction is all welded #4 finish stainless steel, type 304. The steam jacket of the Southbend KELS-20 through KELS-100 steam kettle surrounds the lower two-thirds of the kettle.
