The Star-Max … 6048CBF … are lava-rock charbroiler models. Star-Max radiant and lava rock charbroilers are designed to provide excellent heating and control when preparing a wide variety of products. The units are designed with durability and flexibility in mind with cast burners and a control knob for each twelve [12] inch (304mm) section. The grates have been designed to hold a high capacity of product for maximum efficiency under demanding cooking situations. Models 6048CBF and 6148RCBF have a gas input of 160,000 BTU for natural gas. The Star-Max gas charbroilers are supplied set up for natural gas. The field conversion kit included with Star-Max radiant and lava rock gas charbroilers is for LP gas conversion. The charbroilers are constructed in the U.S.A. and feature a stainless front panel, bull nose, drip pan, splash guard, and grease trough. … They use lava rocks. Star-Max charbroiler grates are adjustable in 6-inch sections. A stainless-steel 2.75-inch (70 mm) high tapered splash guard and large-capacity water pan are provided for easy cleanup. Models 6048CBF and 6148RCBF are 48 in (1,219 mm) wide.
