KELT-60 … tilting-kettle configuration. The KELT-60 kettle has a capacity of 60 gallons (227 liters). The Southbend KELT kettle is specified for 208 VAC, 1 phase, 50/60 Hz operation for 12 to 18 kW only. The KELT-SB 18 kW, 1-phase electrical configuration draws 86.5 amps per line at 208 V. The controls are integrally mounted and include a power switch, thermostat, pilot light, low water light, vacuum/pressure gauge, safety relief valve, and low water shut off. KELT-60 … tilt through a full 90°. The kettle is self-generating; its jacket enclosure contains distilled water and is factory sealed. steam jacket surrounds the lower two-thirds of the kettle. The kettle is constructed with all-welded #4-finish stainless steel, type 304. interior liner is stainless steel type 316.
