The Southbend Steam KEMTL specification is for a twin electric kettle assembly containing two kettles. KEMTL-60-2. The KEMTL-60-2 assembly has two 60-gallon kettles; each is listed as 227 liters. input kw: 24. The Southbend Steam KEMTL twin kettle assembly operates on three-phase electrical supply. Kettle controls include a power switch, thermostat, power-on pilot light, vacuum/pressure gauge, pressure relief valve, and low-water shut off. Construction shall be welded stainless steel type 304 satin finish. A sealed stainless steel tilt mechanism permits the kettle to tilt forward a full 90° for complete emptying and is self-locking for positive stop action. The steam jacket of the Southbend Steam KEMTL kettle extends around the lower 2/3 of the kettle. Two agitators are included: a primary stainless steel scraper/agitator and a secondary high-speed mixer. The mixer is a variable-speed unit powered by a 5 hp electric motor driving a hydraulic pump.
