The Southbend BGCTS-16 gas counter tilting skillet is gas-fired. The BGCTS-16 has a capacity of 16 gal [61 liter]. The BGCTS-16 has a gas input of 63,000 BTU/hr. The BGCTS-16 is listed with a natural gas supply option. The BGCTS-16 natural gas supply pressure is a minimum of 3.5 in water column [89 mm]. The controls are integrally mounted and include a power switch, temperature pilot light, electronic ignition, ignition light, and a high limit temperature cut-off, in addition to the solid state thermostat. The BGCTS-16 skillet operates in a temperature range from 100°F to 450°F (38°C to 232°C). The skillet shall be of one piece coved corner, 10 gauge type 316 stainless steel with a #4 exterior finish, a polished interior with etched gallon markings and coved corners for ease of cleaning. The cooking surface shall be of 3/4” triple-ply construction with 3/8” thick aluminum core ensuring even heat distribution over the entire cooking surface. The BGCTS-16 has a total maximum electrical current of 2.0 A. The BGCTS-16 electrical connection is single phase.
