The Southbend 36-inch sectional range has six induction cook tops. Each of the six cook tops on the Southbend 36-inch sectional range is specified as 12 in. fuel type: electric. The P36-III electric range's standard supply voltage is 240 V. For the P36-III electric range's standard 240/60 3-phase supply and optional 240/60 1-phase supply, the electrical terminal block has 3 poles. The P36-III electric range must be wired by a licensed electrician for its standard 240/60 3-phase supply and optional 240/60 1-phase supply. The front and sides are constructed of #3 polished 430 and 304 stainless steel. The range has a high-impact CERAN® glass top. The induction elements are removable for service. Each cooking element has a 0–9 power-level LED indicator. An automatic infrared shut-off sensor prevents overheating.
