The Southbend Steam model R18A-4 (4 pan) counter convection steamer with electric steam generator is NSF certified. The R18A-4 is an electric counter steamer with auto fill and auto drain. The R18A-4 steamer accommodates 2 pans at 6 in (152 mm) pan depth. The R18A-4 steamer accommodates 2 pans at 4 in (102 mm) pan depth. The R18A-4 steamer accommodates 4 pans at 2.5 in (64 mm) pan depth. The R18A-4 steamer accommodates 8 pans at 1 in (25 mm) pan depth. The R18A-4 steamer draws 48.1 A at 208 V, 10 kW, single phase. The Southbend R18A-4 steam generator operates at 0 psi (0 kPa). The controls include an illuminated three-way power switch (On / Off / De-lime), a pilot ready light, a pilot cook light, and a 60-minute electric timer with an audible alarm at the end of the cooking cycle. The unit is constructed of #4-finish 304 stainless steel, with a one-piece welded 316 stainless steel cooking chamber with coved corners. The door has a removable stainless steel inner liner with a full-perimeter gasket seal, an outer liner of one-piece all-welded stainless steel, and a positive lock and seal mechanism.
