The slicer has No-Volt Release, Carriage Interlock, Home to Start, and Close to Stop interlocks, and its Knife Time Out feature automatically shuts off the motor after 30 seconds of inactivity; the time can be adjusted down to 5 seconds or the feature can be disabled. The SG213 slicer uses a Poly-V Belt drive.
