Door-Free Holding Cabinet Under-Counter. Single Sided Configuration. The Carter-Hoffmann DF1818-5 has one control for its five-shelf unit. The DF Series is described as doorless holding cabinets for pizza boxes up to 18” × 18”. The cabinets are capable of heating to 225°F (108°C); preheat to 160°F (71°C) takes approximately 15–20 minutes. The controls provide cabinet temperature and holding-time control; shelf temperatures and holding times can be controlled independently, and an audible alarm signals the end of the hold cycle. The electronic temperature controls have a countdown timer and an audio/visual alarm; each timer can be set for up to 9 hours, 59 minutes, in one-minute increments, and the countdown converts to seconds when less than one minute remains.
