The Southbend direct-steam full-jacket kettle has an 80-gallon capacity. KDLS-80F. The Southbend direct-steam full-jacket kettle requires direct steam at a minimum of 5 PSI (34 kPa) and a maximum of 25 psi (172 kPa). The kettle has a steam supply connection of 3/4 in IPS (19 mm). The kettle has a condensate return connection of 1/2 in IPS (13 mm). Construction shall be all welded satin finish stainless steel type 304. The Southbend kettle interior is stainless steel type 316. Convenience features shall include a perforated strainer with the sanitary draw-off valve. The Southbend Steam direct-steam full-jacket kettle's draw-off valve has a 2-inch (50 mm) size. The cover is included as a standard convenience feature on the specified Southbend Steam KDLS-80F or KDPS-80P kettle.
