The Southbend KELT kettle's steam jacket surrounds the lower two-thirds of the kettle. The Southbend KELT kettle's interior liner is stainless steel type 316. The kettle is constructed with all-welded #4-finish stainless steel, type 304. The controls are integrally mounted and include a power switch, thermostat, pilot light, low water light, vacuum/pressure gauge, safety relief valve, and low water shut off. The Southbend KELT kettle is specified for 3-phase operation at 208 VAC, 50/60 Hz. The KELT-SB 24 kW, 3-phase electrical configuration draws 66.6 amps per line at 208 V. KELT-SB kettles require 0 inches (0 mm) minimum clearance at the back. KELT-SB kettles require 0 inches (0 mm) minimum clearance at the sides.
