Electric Counter Tilt Kettle. The KECT-6-L kettle has a capacity of 6 gallons (23 liters). The Southbend KECT-6-L, KECT-10-L and KECT-12-L kettles have a tilting kettle configuration. The Southbend KECT-6-L, KECT-10-L and KECT-12-L kettles have a 2/3 steam jacket around the lower 2/3 of the kettle. The Southbend KECT-6-L, KECT-10-L and KECT-12-L kettles are available in a 1-phase configuration at 220 VAC. The KECT-6-L kettle has rated input power of 7.5 kW at phase 1. The controls are water resistant, integrally mounted, and include a power switch, solid state thermostat, pilot light, vacuum/pressure gauge, safety valve, and low water shut off with low water light for each kettle. The interior cooking surface of the Southbend KECT-6-L, KECT-10-L and KECT-12-L kettles is type 316 stainless steel. The Southbend KECT-6-L, KECT-10-L and KECT-12-L kettles operate in a temperature range with a lower setting of 165°F (74°C). The Southbend KECT-6-L, KECT-10-L and KECT-12-L kettles operate in a temperature range with an upper setting of 285°F (140°C). The Southbend KECT-6-L, KECT-10-L and KECT-12-L kettles are NSF certified.
