The Southbend P18-C 18-inch sectional range is offered in the P18C-C cabinet-base configuration. The P18-C sectional range has a full-width charbroiler section on its supplied top. Each burner on the P18-C sectional range has a 21,000 BTU input rating on LP gas. The P18-C sectional range's burners have one high/low control knob. The range's front, sides, rear, and exterior bottom are constructed of #3 polished 430 and 304 stainless steel. The cabinet-base model has a stainless steel cabinet base with a removable door that can hinge on the right or the left. Each unit has a 1-1/4 in. front manifold that couples to the adjacent sectional unit(s), and a 1 in. rear gas connection with a male NPT connector. All sectional units require a regulated gas supply (a pressure regulator must be ordered separately). If using a flexible-hose gas connection, the inside diameter of the hose must not be smaller than the connector on the unit and must comply with ANSI Z21.69, providing an adequate means of restraint to prevent undue strain on the gas connection. The required minimum gas supply pressure is 11 in. W.C. for propane. P18-C sectional units are for use in noncombustible locations only.
