The Southbend Steam ECX-2S, ECX-2S-36, ECX-10S, and ECX-10S-36 models have an electric steam boiler base. ECX-2S-36. The ECX-2S-[36] model has a capacity of 2 pans at 4-in pan depth. The ECX-2S-[36] model has a capacity of 1 pan at 6-in pan depth. The ECX-2S-[36] model has a capacity of 3 pans at 2-1/2-in pan depth. A steamer with a 24-kW boiler draws 57.8 amps per line at 240 V, 3 phase. The electric steam boiler operates at 9–11 psi (62–76 kPa). Each steamer compartment's timer has a 60-minute duration. Each steamer compartment's timer is mechanical. The steamer shall be constructed of #4 finish stainless steel type 304, with a cooking chamber of one-piece, all welded, 316 stainless steel.
