The mixer is interlocked with a removable stainless steel bowl guard with fully welded ingredient chute. Mixer is constructed of a rigid cast iron body. It has a custom built motor with overload protection and a gear-driven, high-torque, permanently lubricated transmission consisting of heat-treated hardened steel alloy gears and shafts. The SPC60 mixer has a #12 attachment hub. The SPC60 mixer is NSF listed. The SPC60 mixer is ETL listed.
