KEPS-20. The Southbend Steam KEPS kettle is a pedestal kettle. The KEPS-20 kettle has a capacity of 20 gallons (76 liters). The Southbend Steam KEPS kettle operates electrically. The KEPS-20 kettle has a standard input rating of 12 kW. may be supplied for operation at 208 VAC, 1 phase, 50/60 Hz, for 12 to 18 kW only. The controls are integrally mounted and include a power switch, thermostat, pilot light, low-water light, vacuum/pressure gauge, safety relief valve, and low-water shutoff. Construction is all-welded #4-finish type 304 stainless steel. The interior liner is standard 316 for high-acid-content cooking. The KEPS-20 and KEPS-25 kettles require a minimum side clearance of 3 inches (76 mm). The Southbend Steam KEPS kettle is NSF certified.
