Southbend EMT-10S is a 10-gallon electric steam kettle on a 24-inch cabinet base, so it’s a floor-standing commercial unit for batch soup, sauce, and kettle work rather than a countertop or small-volume piece. It runs on 24 kW, 240V, 3-phase, field-wired power with a dedicated circuit, and the boiler is a generator type with CSD-1 controls, automatic blowdown, water treatment system, and an automatic-fill boiler; it’s indoor only and requires professional installation. Built with 304 stainless steel construction, a 316 stainless liner, reversible tilt handle, steam control valve, and deck-mount hot/cold faucet with riser, it’s aimed at busy kitchens that want a larger electric kettle with safety and service features.
