The KELS kettle's steam system is closed. The KELS kettle's steam system is self-generating. The controls shall be integrally mounted and shall include a power switch, thermostat, pilot light, low water light, vacuum/pressure gauge, safety relief valve and low water shut off. Construction shall be all welded #4 finish stainless steel, type 304. The food-contact interior liner of the KELS kettle is standard 316 stainless steel for high-acid-content cooking. The KELS kettle is standard with a 2-inch (50 mm) sanitary draw-off valve. The KELS kettle is NSF certified.
