Southbend EMT-10S is an electric freestanding steam kettle on a 24" cabinet, with a 10-gallon capacity and a 36 kW, 208V, 3-phase power requirement on a field-wired dedicated circuit. It uses a generator steam source with CSD-1 boiler controls, automatic blowdown, and a water treatment system, and its reversible tilt handle, steam control valve, and deck-mount hot/cold faucet make it suited to commercial prep where controlled batch cooking and easy emptying matter. At 24" W x 33" D x 65.13" H and 470 lb, it is a compact floor unit for indoor use, with a 316 stainless liner, 304 stainless construction, and 1-year parts and labor warranty.
