KELT-60 … have a tilting-kettle configuration. The Southbend Steam KELT-20, KELT-25, KELT-30, KELT-40, KELT-60, KELT-80, and KELT-100 kettle models use electric operation. The KELT-60 kettle has a capacity of 60 gallons (227 liters). The Southbend KELT kettle is specified for 3-phase operation at 220 VAC, 50/60 Hz. The Southbend KELT kettle's listed optional 33 kW configuration is for 60, 80, or 100 gallon kettles. The KELT-SB 33 kW, 3-phase electrical configuration draws 86.6 amps per line at 220 V. The controls are integrally mounted and include a power switch, thermostat, pilot light, low water light, vacuum/pressure gauge, safety relief valve, and low water shut off. The kettle is self-generating; its jacket enclosure contains distilled water and is factory sealed. The Southbend KELT kettle's steam jacket surrounds the lower two-thirds of the kettle. The Southbend KELT kettle's interior liner is stainless steel type 316. KELT-60 … tilt through a full 90°.
