The Southbend KECTC kettle has a 2/3 steam jacket. The KECTC-12 has a rated capacity of 12 gallons (45 liters). The Southbend KECTC kettle operates electrically. The KECTC-10 and KECTC-12 have a rated electrical input of 12.0 kW. The KECTC-10/12 models are listed with phase 3 electrical configurations. The kettle has a double-wall interior forming a steam jacket around the lower 2/3 of the kettle; the jacket enclosure contains factory-sealed distilled water. The Southbend KECTC kettle is self-generating.
