The Southbend BGCTS-16 gas tilting skillet is a counter unit. The BGCTS-16 has a capacity of 16 gal [61 liter]. The gas-fired BGCTS-16 is rated at 63,000 BTU. The BGCTS-16 is listed with a propane gas supply option. The BGCTS-16 propane gas supply pressure is a minimum of 11 in water column [279 mm]. The gas-fired BGCTS-16 operates on 115 VAC. The controls are integrally mounted and include a power switch, temperature pilot light, electronic ignition, ignition light, and a high limit temperature cut-off, in addition to the solid state thermostat. The cooking surface shall be of 3/4” triple-ply construction with 3/8” thick aluminum core ensuring even heat distribution over the entire cooking surface. The BGCTS-16 skillet operates in a temperature range from 100°F to 450°F (38°C to 232°C). The burner turns off automatically when the pan is tilted.
