The Imperial IRT-18-E is an indoor, commercial electric rethermalizer, not a fryer or oven, with a 16-gallon water tank and 8.5 kW output on 240V, 3-phase power, so it fits the higher-capacity prep/retherm class for restaurants, catering, and institutional kitchens. It’s a floor-mounted mobile unit on four 6-inch casters with a plumbed water line and drain connection, stainless steel vessel and exterior, hinged cover, auto-fill with rapid fill bypass, overfill protection, and a preset 200°F thermostat. Compare it against other high-volume electric rethermalizers where footprint, 3PH electrical service, water hookup, and bag/rack handling for large or smaller servings are the deciding factors.
