The cooker is a pressure and pressureless compartment cooker with a gas steam boiler. GDA-3S. Each GDA-3S steamer has 3 compartments. The GDA-3S steamer has a capacity of 12–24 pans. gas type: propane. The gas steam boiler is rated at 250,000 BTU. The Southbend GDA-2S and GDA-3S gas steam cookers have gas steam boilers operating at 9–11 psi (62–76 kPa). Each cooking compartment of the Southbend GDA-2S and GDA-3S has timer controls that operate independently of the other compartment's timer controls. The Southbend GDA-2S and GDA-3S upper compartment can be selected by the operator to operate in pressure-cooking mode. The Southbend GDA-2S and GDA-3S lower compartment operates as a pressure cooker only. The cooker is constructed of all-welded satin-finish type 304 stainless steel.
