KELS-25 … tri-leg kettle is mounted on legs. The KELS-25 kettle has a capacity of 25 gallons (95 liters). The Southbend KELS-20, KELS-25, KELS-30, KELS-40, KELS-60, KELS-80, and KELS-100 kettle uses a self-generating closed steam system. The steam jacket of the Southbend KELS-20 through KELS-100 steam kettle surrounds the lower two-thirds of the kettle. The KELS-25 kettle has 12 kW available as standard electrical power. The KELS-20 and KELS-25 12-kW three-phase configuration draws 28.9 A per line at 240 V. The controls are integrally mounted and include a power switch, thermostat, pilot light, low water light, vacuum/pressure gauge, safety relief valve, and low water shut off. Construction is all welded #4 finish stainless steel, type 304. The Southbend KELS steam kettle includes the draw-off valve as a standard feature. The Southbend KELS steam kettle's draw-off valve has a 2-inch (50 mm) size.
