Direct Steam Kettle. DMT-30S. Tilt Modular. The DMT-30S and DMS-30S models each have a listed capacity of 30 gallons (114 liters). Southbend direct-steam kettle models have a 2/3 kettle-body steam jacket. Southbend DMT and DMS kettle models are direct-steam models. Southbend direct-steam kettle models require operation with direct steam at a minimum of 5 psi (34 kPa). Southbend DMT models are equipped for operation on 115 VAC, 1 phase, 60 Hz. DMT models have a 1/2 H.P. hydraulic system for tilting, allowing complete emptying of contents; tilting may be stopped at any time without the kettle tilting back. A steam control valve and hot and cold water, deck mount fill faucet are mounted on the stainless steel counter top. Southbend DMS and DMT kettle models include a cover as standard construction.
