The two kettles in the Southbend Steam GMT-10S-6 are steam tilting kettles. One of the two kettles in the Southbend Steam GMT-10S-6 has a capacity of 10 gallon (38 litre). One of the two kettles in the Southbend Steam GMT-10S-6 has a capacity of 6 gallon (23 litre). The GMT-10S-6 is gas operated. The GMT-10S-6 gas boiler is rated at 250,000 BTU. The GMT-10S-6 steam boiler is rated for 15 psi (103 kPa) steam operation. The GMT-10S-6 includes electronic ignition, CSD-1 boiler controls, automatic blowdown, and a split water line. The kettles have a double-wall interior forming a steam jacket around the lower 2/3 of the kettle. The kettle bottom is hemispherical in design for superior heat circulation, and the kettle interior is 316 stainless steel for high-acid-content products. The two kettles in the Southbend Steam GMT-10S-6 are direct-connected. The cabinet base has a full perimeter angle frame, reinforced counter, hot and cold water faucet with control valves, 3” (76 mm) deep sinks with drain, grates and splash guard, gas boiler with controls, hinged doors with magnetic catches, removable side panels and 6” (152 mm) stainless steel legs fitted with 4 adjustable flanged feet for securing to the floor. It has an all #4 stainless steel exterior with aluminized steel back.
