The Southbend KELT kettle's steam jacket surrounds the lower two-thirds of the kettle. The Southbend KELT kettle's interior liner is stainless steel type 316. The controls are integrally mounted and include a power switch, thermostat, pilot light, low water light, vacuum/pressure gauge, safety relief valve, and low water shut off.
