BGMTS-30 … is a hydraulic tilting skillet. The Southbend Steam BGMTS-30 or BGMTS-40 skillet is gas-fired. BGMTS-30 gas modular tilt skillets have a capacity of 30 gallons (114 liters). BGMTS-30 gas modular tilt skillets have a gas input of 80,000 BTU/hr. BGMTS-30 and BGMTS-40 gas modular tilt skillets require propane supply pressure of 11–14 inches water column. The controls are mounted in the cabinet base and include a temperature light, tilt switch, electronic ignition, and tilt safety switch; the hydraulic lift system is powered by a 1/2 HP electric motor for smooth and precise tilting action. The cooking surface is 3/4 in triple-ply construction with a 3/8 in thick aluminum core, ensuring even heat distribution over the entire cooking surface. The pan is formed from 10 gauge 304 stainless steel with a #4 finish exterior and polished interior with coved corners for easy cleaning. The pan body has a sloped front, is front hinged for tilting and easy-pour control, and comes complete with a removable pour-lip strainer and etched gallon markings.
