The Southbend Steam KEPS kettle is a pedestal kettle. The KEPS-25 kettle has a capacity of 25 gallons (95 liters). The Southbend Steam KEPS kettle has a steam jacket around the lower 2/3 of the kettle. The KEPS-25 kettle has a standard input rating of 12 kW. The Southbend Steam KEPS kettle may be supplied for operation at 220 VAC, 3 phase, 50/60 Hz. The controls are integrally mounted and include a power switch, thermostat, pilot light, low-water light, vacuum/pressure gauge, safety relief valve, and low-water shutoff. Construction is all-welded #4-finish type 304 stainless steel. The interior liner is standard 316 for high-acid-content cooking.
