The steamer is a countertop, boiler-free convection steamer with manual fill and manual drain. The Southbend EZ18-5 electric counter steamer has a 5-pan configuration. The Southbend EZ18-5 steamer accommodates 5 pans at 2.5 in [64 mm] pan depth. The Southbend EZ18-5 steamer accommodates 3 pans at 4 in [102 mm] pan depth. The Southbend EZ18-5 steamer accommodates 10 pans at 1 in [25 mm] pan depth. The Southbend EZ18-5 steamer accommodates 2 pans at 6 in [152 mm] pan depth. The steamer offers selectable timed or constant-steam cooking mode and electromechanical controls. The controls include an illuminated timed-cooking/off/constant-steam switch, a ready indicator light, a cooking indicator light, and a low-water indicator light with an audible alarm. The unit is constructed of satin-finish 300 series stainless steel and has a one-piece welded 300 series stainless-steel cooking chamber with coved corners. The Southbend EZ18-5 steamer draws 36.0 amps at 240V, 3 PH, at 15 kW. The Southbend EZ18-5 electric counter steamer is field-convertible to single phase. The Southbend EZ18-5 electric counter steamer is configurable to 2/3 rating.
