The Southbend KELT kettle's steam jacket surrounds the lower two-thirds of the kettle. The kettle is constructed with all-welded #4-finish stainless steel, type 304. The Southbend KELT kettle's interior liner is stainless steel type 316. The controls are integrally mounted and include a power switch, thermostat, pilot light, low water light, vacuum/pressure gauge, safety relief valve, and low water shut off. The Southbend KELT kettle has a maximum pressure of 50 psi. The Southbend Steam KELT-20, KELT-25, KELT-30, KELT-40, KELT-60, KELT-80, and KELT-100 kettle models tilt through a full 90°.
