The Southbend Counterline charbroiler is a countertop model. HDC-18 and HDCL-18 charbroilers are listed for natural-gas input of 60,000 BTU/hr. The burners on HDC-18 and HDCL-18 charbroilers are rated at 20,000 BTU each. Each straight burner is controlled by a gas valve for independent flame control. cooking grids are two-sided. The charbroiler has an exterior finish with front and sides constructed of #3 polished 430 and 304 stainless steel; the bottom and rear are aluminized steel. 5-inch-high rear and side splash guards. HDC and HDCL units must be installed under a vented hood. Each HDC and HDCL unit using natural gas requires a minimum supply pressure of 7 inches W.C.
